What's New in 2007

In 2007, we commenced a project at the St George Hospital managing a project implementing an electronic medical record application, VARIAN's ARIA for Medical Oncology. During this year, we focused on getting the contract signed with the vendor and putting in place the required IT infrastructure supporting the many terminals that would be accessing this system. One of the requirements was that the system should support a paperless workflow and hence a lot of work went into understanding the workflow and determining howe a paperless workflow would be supported.

We also gave a presentation at the Oral History Conference in Oakland California during October ad visited our collaborators in Alaska, Project Jukebox, at the University of Fairbanks.

We completed an upgrade of the Hyde Park Barracks Museum convicts kiosk system to incorporate a map interface.

We completed version 4 of Testimony Software, the JavaScript version of the Testimony Borwser and Project Jukebox converted the Nome jukebox to use this new, web version.
