- We have installed version 2 of HackerALert after a six month trial. The new version provides for extended checking including validation of web pages against the HTML document model. This is important because, although today's browsers are leniant with respect to missing or incorrect use of tags, when XCML is adopted, leniancy will disappear and could cause many web sites to crash. The recent spate of web site defacement means we are now positioned to monitor many pages and thus protect clients from crippling costs and embarrasement [go to HackerAlert page]
