- We are trying to establish an R&D consortium to further develop our Events On Line technology. The R&D will develop toolsets to support the marking-up and indexing of real-time information streams and an advanced interface to digital information spaces. If you are interested in discussing your participation in the proposed consortium, please contact Dr. Bob Jansen [Contact Details]
- We have delivered the On Line and Ondisk'99 web site developed using our Events On Line technology. To see the site, go to http://bigbang.cadre.com.au/onlineondisk99. This site was developed using our Events On Line technology.
- We have delivered a CD ROM to the Federal Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts (formerly the Department of Communications and the Arts) on aspects of new technologies and Australian culture. The CD ROM uses the Events On Line technology to provide access to a forum, Copyright and the Electronic Image, held in Canberra in 1998, as well as wealth of documents related to various aspects on this important topic. The CD ROM will be distributed to each cultural institution in Australia and will be available from the Department in Canberra for others.
- The Oracle Australian Users Group is exploring the use of our Events On Line technology to record the annual Oracle Users Group Conference for delivery throughout the Asia Pacific Region.
- We are consulting to the Old Adelaide Gaol, in Adelaide South Australia, to develop a CD ROM to describe what life was like in the gaol. The aim is to develop this CD ROM as a central reference to more specific details about life in the gaol, for example, what it was like for Aboriginal people, women, what the food was like etc. This CD ROm will provide the gateways to this further information which will be produced at a later stage.
- We are working with Siroco, the Australian world music group, to organise an Internet broadcast of one of their concerts at this year's Festival of the Stars organised by the Coonabarabran Arts Council. We will be utilising our Events On Line technology to capture the event for the Internet broadcast as well as the development of a CD ROM for sale after the event. This broadcast is to showcase the group, Siroco, the Warrambungle Ranges in outback New South Wales and the stars of the southern hemisphere. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
- We have been retained by Access Contemporary Art Gallery to design and implement an ethernet network for them. This network is to enable simultaneous access to the Internet by all computers on-site as well as provide email and print services for all.
