Testimony Software - Technical Details

Testimony Software is a standards-based system. It uses XML and Quicktime to store and manipulate its code and content.

This means you can create your content is a wide variety of formats and use them in Testimony Software at no extra cost to you! It also means you can create your content in the format best suited to the content.

Other systems will force you to use their proprietary format and that means you have to pay the cost of converting your content and ideas to suit them.

Using Quicktime, means that Testimony Software can display/use:

TLSTranscription, the Testimony Software authoring tool, is written in RealBasic [go to RealBasic web site]. Realbasic is a simple environment so that if you need to customize the authorign toolkit, it can be done simply and cheaply. Any competent programmer is able to use RealBasic. Using RealBasic means we can deliver TLSTranscription on Macintosh, Windows and Linux environments.

The Testimony Software browser is written in JavaScript and currently only runs successfully when your users use the free Firefox browser. Others browsers will be added as they are tested.
